USED - This 2007 Fender Master Built Custom Shop Left Handed 1958 Stratocaster was owned by legendary guitarist Elliot Easton of The Cars, and built by Fender Master Luthier Artist Builder Dennis Galuszka who's work is usually not available to the general public!
This is a great looking NOS no relic Time Machine guitar, it looks, and plays as if you traveled back to 1958 and bought a new Stratocaster! This Strat features a unique capacitor/resistor circuit that keeps the tone exactly the same when you turn down. Not a treble bleed, which rolls off low end.
It also features Custom wiring: Master volume, 1st tone control affects the neck and middle pickup, the 2nd tone control works on the bridge pickup. Toggle switch positions from all the way down to forward: 1: bridge pickup 2: bridge + middle 3: middle pickup, 4: BOTH OUTSIDE PICKUPS, a great tone, unavailable with standard wiring, 5: neck pickup.
Here's some notes from Elliot Easton: "I used this guitar on the 2011 Cars album "Move Like This" specifically on the songs Blue Tip, and Sad Song. The only wear I've noticed on the guitar was one tiny, barely noticeable ding on the front of the upper horn (see photo) and that's it! (my cable jack accidentally swung against the guitar-it's just a dot.)
I will also provide a personal dated and signed letter of provenance, a singed copy of the album "Move Like This", and also a few of my personalized picks!"
