The Fab Gear Guitar Lesson Program
The Fab Gear beginning guitar lesson program is a six-week course that is designed to put students on the fast track to playing guitar. Similar to the Suzuki violin teaching method, we teach all the fundamentals and major guitar chords in the first two weeks. By the third week the student is playing one of their favorite songs! The concept is to encourage the student to rehearse. If a budding student can play one of their favorite songs within the first few weeks, they’ll be more inclined to pick up their guitar and practice. And it’s all about practice. If the student rehearses exactly what their instructor teaches each week they’ll be rocking after the six-week course!
Students at Fab Gear are assessed for their level and paired with an instructor who can address their individual needs. Our intermediate and advanced guitar courses will take any guitarist to the next level of playing. Our staff of professional guitar instructors, have the experience as well as the real-world musical background required to help students bridge the gap from the practice room to the stage. We teach all styles. Rock, Pop, Blues, Jazz, Classical, and beyond, you can learn it with Fab Gear. There is simply no substitute for quality, one-on-one lessons on your instrument.
Lessons are done at Fab Gear Studios in Fairport or at an addition charge and for your convenience, one of our guitar instructors will come right to your home! That's right, no more driving your child to a lesson and waiting around. It’s like the long lost old fashion doctor visit!
