More info
This design was once exclusive to the British distributor Rose Morris in the six-ties. Iconic curves of maple form the body with a traditional Rosewood fingerboard. Dot inlays and no binding make this stand out from the standard 4003. The Vintage Tone Selector activates a capacitor in the treble pickup circuit to emphasize the high end. Pressed in, you get the familiar 4003 sound, pull it out to add bite and crispness.
The 4003S now boasts the new V.2 bass bridge pickup, delivering the same iconic Rickenbacker bass tone we all love, now with a newly designed pickup cover, enabling you to effortlessly access the strings from any position on the body. This bass comes with its official Rickenbacker Deluxe Hardshell Case.
