More Info

This design featuring dot inlays and no binding was once exclusive to the British distributor Rose Morris in the sixties and made this model stand out from the standard 4003. Iconic curves of maple form the body, with a traditional Rosewood fingerboard adorning the neck. The 4003S now features many modern improvements players have been asking for: a thinner, early 70’s style neck profile with an improved bi-flex trussrod system, and a fully adjustable tailpiece, allowing for greater control of string height and increased sustain.

Other improvements include the new V.2 bass bridge pickup, delivering the same iconic Rickenbacker bass tone we all love, now with a newly designed pickup cover enabling you to effortlessly access the strings from any position on the body. This bass comes with its official Rickenbacker Deluxe Hardshell Case.
