The Drive knob controls the amount of distortion, while 3-band EQ and Filter controls let you shape your sound to taste. We even included cabinet simulation to add some flavor when plugged into a full-range acoustic amp or PA. Designed by our in-house team of experts, the Smolder® Acoustic Overdrive is an all-original Fender circuit. The chassis is crafted from lightweight, durable anodized aluminum, and the Amp Jewel LED gives your pedalboard the classic Fender look. The switchable LED-backlit knobs show your control settings on a dark stage at a glance.

Inspired by the all-analog design of vintage pedals, the Smolder also features modern controls for precision sound-shaping. Not only does the EQ section sport the traditional Bass, Middle and Treble controls, it also has a Filter control for even more sound-shaping. Combination high- and low-pass filters let you optimize the Smolder for your pickup type, compensating for potentially bright piezo elements. The Smolder is designed for optimal tone out of full-range devices like PAs and acoustic amplifiers. Since it uses a center-negative 9VDC connection, it’s easy to use the Smolder with most pedalboards and power supplies. Every Fender effects pedal is crafted from lightweight, durable anodized aluminum and includes switchable LED-illuminated controls.
