VINTAGE - This vintage 1979 Fender Stratocaster Hardtail was built at the original Fender Fullerton, California factory with an alder wood body and maple neck with rosewood fingerboard. The body and neck have their original factory finish, and the body is tagged inside ‘Feb 1979’. The three-bolt neck plate was replaced with a four-bolt neck plate by the original owner to make the neck and body more stable.

The guitar is fitted with the original Fender hardtail bridge that strings though the back, and a set of original Fender ‘F’ style tuners. The original three-ply black pickguard has the original Fender electronics and pickups. The center pickup was replaced, and new control knobs were added. Comes with a non-original hardshell case.

This is a cool 47 year old guitar, that’s for the musician who wants a classic from the original Fender factory!
