Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold Top Electric Guitar (Gold) - Vintage 1969
VINTAGE - This cool early 1969 Gibson Les Paul Standard Gold Top built at the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan features the more desirable one-piece mahogany neck with no-volute, no dot over the “i” in the logo, and one-piece mahogany body with a maple top. This 57-year-old guitar is a one-owner guitar and is an amazing-sounding instrument that has been well played through the years with no cracks, breaks, repairs, or other structural damage.
The guitar has its original finish and was overspayed clear on the back of the neck and back of the body when it was re-fretted quite a few years ago; the top is not overspayed. Schaller tuners were put on this guitar at some point as many guitarists did in the 80s, and a new set of historically correct Gibson Tunes have been installed. The guitar has its original hardware, electronics, and pickups. The jackplate has been replaced. Comes with a non-original hardshell case.
