The Limited Edition Light Blue Pearl Penguin™ features an arched maple top and a mahogany body with vintage chambering, which magnifies harmonic richness by letting air resonate between the top and body for a livelier and more articulate tone.
A faithful reproduction of the original “Ful-Fidelity” Filter’Tron pickups invented by the legendary Ray Butts, these pickups are made according to Ray's personal notes and designs, and TV Jones' extensive multi-decade analysis of original Filter'Tron pickups. They produce a tighter bass response and slightly more top end than modern Filter’Tron pickups, and the absence of wax potting results in a more open, three-dimensional sound with truly unique sparkle and exceptional dynamics.
The Bigsby® B3CP features a string-thru design that eliminates the need for string pins, making for faster and easier string changes, as well as providing increased vibration transfer for enhanced sustain.
A genuine bone nut provides harmonically rich tone that enhances sound quality while offering excellent tuning stability.
Luminlay® glow-in the-dark side dots provide exceptional visibility even on the darkest stages.
